1. Wet parts:

Impeller is an important working component of slurry pump, which directly participates in the transportation of slurry and bears significant pressure and wear.

Due to cavitation and long-term wear, perforation may form on the surface of the blade. Although it is not a vulnerable part, spare parts should also be prepared.

2. Seal assembly:

The shaft seal of the slurry pump is installed to prevent leakage between the pump shaft and the casing.

Including packing seal, mechanical seal, and expeller seal.

After prolonged use, the packing will become hard and lose its elasticity, causing air and water leakage in the pump. Generally, new packing should be replaced.

3. Bearing assembly:

It is the core component of the slurry pump, responsible for supporting the rotation of the impeller and the shaft and preventing slurry leakage. In the bearing assembly, the shaft sleeve is an important part to protect the shaft.

With packing seals, they are subject to friction between the packing and the shaft.

With mechanical seal, it is generally not subjected to friction, but in case of mechanical seal failure damage, the bushing may also be damaged by friction of the damaged mechanical seal.

Therefore, it is recommended to keep the shaft sleeve as a wearing part always.

4. Other seals.

Pump internal with a number of places are set up O-rings, gaskets, etc., these auxiliary seals are generally rubber materials or other non-metallic materials, the need for replacement during maintenance.
